We want you to love your candles. If something isn’t right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at Nik Decor . This policy applies to purchases made on [nikdecor.com] (update if different).

1) Return Window

  • Change of mind / wrong scent: Return unused, unlit items in original packaging within 7 days of delivery.

  • Damaged/defective/wrong item: Tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos; we’ll replace or refund.

We can’t accept returns of used, lit, or partially burned candles.

2) Non-Returnable Items

  • Used or opened candles/wax melts

  • Custom/personalized items

  • Gift cards and free gifts

  • Clearance/“final sale” items (unless damaged or incorrect)

3) How to Start a Return

  1. Email [Nikkandwe@gmail.com] or WhatsApp [+91-9927488067] with your order number, reason, and photos (for damage/defects).

  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and share a return label or instructions.

    • If it’s our error (damaged/defective/wrong item), we cover return shipping.

    • For change-of-mind returns, you cover return shipping using a trackable service.

  3. Send items back in original packaging with all inserts. We’re not responsible for returns lost in transit.

4) Exchanges

  • One-time exchange for a different scent/variant within 7 days on unused items.

  • Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

5) Refunds

  • After we receive and inspect your return (typically 2–3 business days), approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days (processing times may vary by bank).

  • COD orders: refunded as store credit or bank transfer (share details when requested).

  • Shipping/COD fees are non-refundable, except where we made a mistake or the item arrived damaged/defective.

6) Damaged or Defective Items

If your candle arrived broken, leaking, or won’t light properly:

  • Contact us within 48 hours with clear photos of the product, the inner packaging, and the outer shipping box.

  • We’ll offer a replacement or full refund (including original shipping), per your preference.

7) Bundles & Sets

Bundle items must be returned as a complete set in original condition. Partial returns aren’t accepted.

8) International Orders (if applicable)

Returns from outside India are currently not accepted for change of mind. For damaged/defective/wrong items, contact us within 48 hours; if a return is arranged, duties/taxes are non-refundable and may be your responsibility.

9) Allergy & Scent Sensitivity

We’re happy to help you pick scents, but once a candle is opened or lit, we can’t accept it for sensitivity reasons. For sealed, unused items returned within the window, standard return rules apply.

10) Fair Use

We monitor excessive returns and may limit service to prevent misuse.

11) Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer laws. Where laws require a longer window or specific remedies, we will follow them.
